Is genAI built on scaffolds as with WebSearch

genAI Pro subscription is just a scaffold as in the case of Web Search?
The low cost normal subscription produces hallucinations but if you pay a higher fee those hallucinations may be removed to get the valid links and references.
But what may happen in the background?
Is it actually a different AI for different prices or just the same AI but links and references are verified by automated scripting?
With the reference of "there is no self spelling wand", let us compare Web Search and current AI progress?
Google Search was once considered magic, with books written about how it was great, how it can magically know what is being searched and how to get the correct answers.
That same magic unravels in Enterprise Search or Private document search. Isn't that happening with genAI or LLMs?
As with Web Search or public search worked great when people created links between the site after writing content, reading and verifying but failed without those links
genAI needs a lot of examples and labeling to create the basic output, but also produces invalid or fake information.
As web search added new things such when domain is registered where it registered to add more filters to give relevant results
genAI added more filters in an automatic checking before it produces the results. It goes like this once results generated a script based verification kicks in verifying those results, the fake links and fake citations are removed and either model is pushed to generate a new one or truncated response is shown to the users.
so that thinking pro with higher subscription may not be a new AI at all just with lot of scaffolding as with web search
then the question should be where we can use this, how best we can use this AI still produces something useful.
